Summer (July - August, 2007)
- Recruit Graduate Fellows - accept appointment
- Instructional Planning Course
- One hour practicum
- Micro teaching experiences
- Interactions with STEP and RET teachers
- Family Science Academy planning and instruction
Fall (September - December, 2007)
- One hour practicum
- Weekly high school observations and interactions
- 10 hours weekly preparation for high school classes
- Best Robotics Competition planning and instruction
- UC Fellow Showcase planning and instruction
Winter (January - March, 2008)
- One hour practicum
- Weekly high school observations and interactions
- 10 hours weekly preparation for high school classes
- Tanzania Trip (possible yearly overseas STEP travel)
- January: UC Technology Workshop planning and instruction
- NSF GK-12 Annual Conference (selected group)
Spring (April - June, 2008)
- Annual Open House for STEP Fellows, Teachers and community
- STEP Fellows selected for follwoing year
- STEP Grant, Evaluation, and IT Coordinator selected for following year
- STEP Schools selected for following year
- STEP Teachers selected for following year
- RET Teachers selected for following year
- Initial meeting and greeting session for new Fellows, teachers and coordinators
