Biography
Matthew Estes attended the College of Engineering at the University of
California at Berkeley, where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree
in BioEngineering in 2003. He is currently a third year graduate student
attending the University of Cincinnati in pursuit of his Ph.D. in BioMedical
Engineering. His research with Dr. Chong Ahn focuses on stem cell isolation
using antibody labeled magnetic beads. His research interests range from
microsystem technology and cell manipulation to vascular engineering.
When he's not busy with school work or working with STEP, Matt enjoys
basketball and soccer.
