Biography
Michael is currently a first year graduate student pursuing a PhD in
electrical engineering. His research interests include biomedical
applications of engineering, including biomedical microsystems, medical
device design, and nanotechnology. As an undergraduate, Michael held
co-op positions in the semiconductor industry with Texas Instruments and
in the medical device field with Ethicon Endo-Surgery and AtriCure Inc.
Additionally, he was involved in campus activities such as Alpha Phi Omega
service organization and Engineering Tribunal, where he held officer
positions and developed leadership skills. Throughout his collegiate
experience, Michael has worked with other students through tutoring,
organizing high school engineering competitions such as the Egg Drop, and
most recently as a Teaching Assistant in the ECECS Department. Michael's
subject strengths include biology, physics, mathematics, and electronics.
