Biography
As an undergraduate at the University of Cincinnati, I majored
in electrical engineering and co-oped at Texas Instruments. While in my
scholastic program I was able to get involved in the professional society
for my major which is the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
I held many positions in this group during my five years as an undergraduate,
including President during my 5th and final year. While working at Texas
Instruments headquarters in Dallas, TX a total of four terms and nearly
two years total time I discovered "real time" working applications
of what I was and have continued to learn thru the classroom environment.
For my masters thesis, I will concentrate on the area of Organic Light
Emitting Diode's under the seniorship of Dr Marc Cahay. Through these
three components and my involvement as an undergrad last year in this
NSF STEP Fellowship, I hope to shed some light on topics in the schools
we work with so that the students can see how what they learn can be used
to produce the advancements and cutting edge technology of today.
