Summary

The lesson begins with an introduction to diseases and treatments with medical devices. An introductory PowerPoint is given by the instructor that leads the students in a discussion about heart disease, cancer, and strokes and the devices used to treat them. Then students work through a handout that teaches them how to use a graphing calculator to plot data and calculate linear regressions.

3. Identify diseases and their treatments with medical devices
4. Use data trends to make decisions
