Academics
The Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Cincinnati offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Both programs have attracted some of the strongest students in the area. For incoming undergraduate students the average SAT score was 1251 and the average ACT score was 29 for academic year 2006-07.
Undergraduate
The curriculum offers a Biomechanics and a Pre-Med option is also available for thoose planning on attend Medical School and is tailored towards your educational and career goals. Also, a Medical Product Design Track.

For incoming graduate students, the average GRE score was 1288 and the average GPA was 3.5 for 2006.

Location
One might ask, “Why should I attend the Biomedical Engineering Program at the University of Cincinnati?” The city of Cincinnati is located in the heartland of America and bordered by the Ohio River which offers recreation such as boating and fishing. Living in Cincinnati, one would get to experience all four seasons with something to do year round. Sporting events in the fall with the UC Bearcat Football team and the Cincinnati Bengals, in the winter students have prime seating to watch the UC Bearcat basketball team and in the spring/summer there are the Cincinnati Reds.
UC is an exciting urban campus with a newly-constructed student center facilities to be opened soon. Minutes from downtown Cincinnati, It is a campus with a diverse student population and easy access to the area's many arts and cultural institutions.
