My research interest is to improve clinical outcomes through the application of science in improved device design.

My pedagogical goal is to organize an environment which capitalizes on creativity, reconciles fundamental tenets of mulitple disciplines, and affords students the ability to determine the requirements of a medical device design, build it, and verify its success.
