The 62nd Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference (OTEC)

The 62nd Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference (OTEC) will be held on October 28-29, 2008 at the Greater Columbus Conversation Center. Ohio college/university undergraduate students from transportation-related disciplines will be eligible to compete for one of four $500 OTEC scholarships. The theme for OTEC 2008 is “The Power of Multi-Modal Transportation: Linking Ohio to the World on All Fronts.” Each student must complete a 150-word essay on how they relate the OTEC theme to Governor Strickland’s 2008 State of the State address. This year’s Student Scholarship Program is designated to reward outstanding students representing disciplines such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering and management, city/urban/regional planning, environmental science/engineering, and information technology with a monetary scholarship.
