CSX Diversity Scholarship

For Juniors or Seniors majoring in Transportation, Logistics, Engineering (ME, CE, Industrial or EE).

Selection criteria as follows:

1. Overall GPA of 2.5 or above (4.0 scale);
2. Evidence of interest and aptitude for the railroad industry;
3. diverse candidates preferred (female, minority);
4. relevant work experience, student organization participation and leadership.

Recipients would be strongly considered for co-op positions with CSX, but are under no obligation to accept a co-op assignment with CSX as a condition of receiving the scholarship. Eligible students must submit a cover letter, resume and two letters of recommendation for consideration of this award. These should be turned into Joe Nevin, Associate Dean of Freshman Engineering by August 15th.

2. ASHE-TRIKO VALLEY 2008 SCHOLARSHIP (PDF 43kb) - one year $2500 scholarship.
   College student going into final year of a transportation or construction related program.
   Applications are due by April 25, 2008 by 4pm.
3. American Concrete Institute Great Miami Valley Chapter 2008 (PDF 75kb) - up to $2000 is available for the 2007 - 2008 school year.
   Competition Begins January 1st of each year.
   Competition Concludes June 30th of each year
