Our Collaborators

The College of Engineering and the College of Applied Science at the University of Cincinnati are working with Cincinnati area high schools to develop and deliver a course that introduces engineering and technology to high school juniors and seniors. The schools that are currently collaborating on this effort

Indian Hill High School

Indian Hill High School is a four-year high school enrolling 700 students. The school is located in suburban Cincinnati in a residential community of approximately 14,000 people. In the graduating class of 2008, 96% of students attended post secondary institutions; 93% attended four-­year colleges and universities, and 3% attended two-year Colleges, technical schools or military. There are 71 faculty and professional staff members of whom 78% have masters degrees or higher. A total of 21 AP courses are offered.

Mount Notre Dame High School

Mount Notre Dame High School is a four-year comprehensive, college preparatory Catholic girl’s high school located in Reading, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. The student body is approximately 750 young women. Over 97% of recent graduates have pursued post-secondary education. MNDHS places a strong emphasis on mathematics and science education, offering five Advanced Placement® courses in these two fields of study.

Mother of Mercy High School

Since 1915, Mother of Mercy High School, a Catholic secondary school sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, has provided a four-year, comprehensive, college-preparatory education for young women. With an approximate enrollment of 600, over 97% of Mercy graduates pursue post secondary education. For more information about Mercy, visit www.motherofmercy.org. Princeton High School

Princeton High School is a relatively large, four-year comprehensive high school that serves approximately 2,000 students. Academic program offerings span the International Baccalaureate program, through Technology, Business, and General Studies. Approximately 82% of the graduates attend college with 60% going to four year schools and 22% enrolling in two year/technical schools. Princeton's average ACT composite for the past three years was 22.3. The average SAT composite in that same period was 1070.

Wm. Henry Harrison High School

Wm. Henry Harrison High School, recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education, serves an enrollment of approximately 1,300 students in grades 9-12. Established in 1876, Harrison High School is a part of the Southwest Local School District, spanning 108 square miles and located in the southwest corner of Hamilton County, Ohio. The school offers a comprehensive, academic curriculum that includes eight Advanced Placement courses. Since 2002, four Harrison High School students have been named National Merit Finalists and nine have been named National Merit Commended Students. For more information about Wm.
