Mission:The undergraduate Aerospace Engineering program will educate and train
students in the contemporary aerospace engineering disciplines of analysis, experimentation, and design through traditional classroom instruction and professional practice embodied in the cooperative education experience. |
Program Educational Objectives:
- A mastery of mathematical, scientific, and technical principles needed for effective problem solving
- An ability to integrate, synthesize, and apply engineering principles in experimentation, analysis, and design of aerospace systems
- Effective communication skills
- An understanding of the importance of professionalism, ethics, and lifelong learning.
- An enhanced understanding of aerospace engineering practice resulting from cooperative educational experiences.
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment
- An opportunity to participate in research projects
