ECECS Undergraduate Programs Educational Objective

To graduate students who will specify, design, develop, implement, evaluate and document successful solutions within challenging industrial and academic environments, and who will continue to prosper in their professional careers.

Mission:

To provide high quality university-level education and research in Electrical Engineering.

Program Educational Objectives:

To graduate electrical engineers driven to deliver enabling technologies and solutions.

Program Outcomes:

a1.    a knowledge of, and ability to apply, topics in mathematics appropriate to their discipline.
a2.    an ability to apply knowledge of science and engineering.
a3.    an understanding of basic theoretical concepts of their discipline.
b.    an ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data, and an understanding of the scientific method.
c.    an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs.
d.    an ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams.
e.    an ability to identify, formulate, and solve problems that arise in their discipline and its applications.
