Programs

Many of the programs we provide are created to serve a very specific client need. The extensive resources of the College of Engineering are available to provide programs related to all aspects of engineering, computer science, technology development and management of technical professionals.

Continuing Professional Development for Professional Engineers

Professional Engineers in Ohio (and most other states) are required to participate in continuing professional development in order to maintain their PE license. We offer courses and programs designed to meet the pragmatic needs of technical professionals, including:

  • Updates on codes and standards
  • Discipline specific short courses
  • Graduate courses (stand alone or towards an MS degree)

Fundamentals of Engineering Review Course

The University of Cincinnati, provides a review course each winter for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. The course will help individuals prepare to pass the exam and begin the process of obtaining their Professional Engineers License. See the Contact Information page to get details of this program.

Civil Engineering Principles and Practices Review Course

The University of Cincinnati, provides a review course each summer for the Principles and Practices exam in Civil Engineering. The course will help individuals prepare to pass the principles and practices exam and obtain their Professional Engineers License.

Effective Leadership in Technical Enterprises

The highly rated program is for technical professionals making the transition into management and organizational leadership. It is a non-credit professional development program that focuses on leadership and personal effectiveness. Companies who have participated in the program include:
