Yet biocompatible membranes for tissue engineering have largely been limited to directing the structure of individual cell types due to the lack of membrane design and manufacturing technologies that offer control on the spatial organization of multiple cell types. Here we propose a novel approach based on a protein/cell photo resist that allows for the formation of complementary patterns of different cell types or protein arrays on biodegradable membranes. | |
