Women in Engineering and Computer Science
Summer Camp
Week of July 26-30, 2010
Survey the World of Engineering!
This one week day camp will allow you to develop your creativity as well as provide you with the opportunity to meet and speak with working engineers and computer scientists.
In the mornings, you will work on campus with different engineering departments, learning and completing hands-on projects to better understand the breadth and variety of the field. In the afternoons, you will visit various corporate engineering plants such as Aventis Pharmaceuticals, General Electric, Procter & Gamble, Northrop Grumman Xetron, or others to meet professional engineers and see their work in action. Throughout the week, take part in peripheral sessions to learn about college preparation, approaches to teamwork, professional development, and more.
