Requirements for On and Off Campus Transfers
We welcome the opportunity for students to
transfer into the College of Engineering. Transfer students in good standing from
accredited colleges and universities will be considered for admission to
the college at the second and third year academic levels. The degree requirement
of professional practice experience precludes acceptance beyond the third year
level.
College or University Requirements:
Course/GPA Requirements
- All students who wish to transfer into the College of
Engineering must satisfy the course and grade requirements of the
College. Those requirements are listed under the program descriptions
given on the list at the left.
Department Advisor
- At the bottom of each program's information page is the name of the
contact person for that program. You should arrange to meet with that person
long before you hope to transfer to plan your program of study. It is that
person who will eventually say yes or no to your application for transfer.
When to Apply
- When that program advisor agrees that you have completed requirements for
transfer, you may apply and turn the application form in to Jennifer Kearney in
665 Baldwin Hall.
General Questions
- If you are not sure of the program into which you want to transfer or you
have any questions about the transfer process in general, please contact Dr.
Joseph Nevin via Email: Joseph.Nevin@uc.edu
or Telephone: (513) 556-3465.
