A quota of 600 pages per quarter for printing on laser printers in college labs is established for each college computing account.   The quota is reset to 600 pages at the beginning of each quarter.

Faculty are asked to minimize the printing of class notes. This will allow students to avoid having to use laser printing in computer labs and exceeding their print quotas.

Printing from Wireless:

If students have to print from laptops, they need to be logged in with their occ accounts. The quotas are for students with an occ account only. You cannot print from laptops logged in with personal accounts since we do not have quotas for such accounts. If you have any questions please mail to engn-userhelp@listserv.uc.edu or go to 636 ERC.

Printing Tips:

1. It is advised that students give their printjobs only after the present printjob has finhsed printing. By submitting two many jobs at a time, there is possibility that the Queus will be blocked.
2. If you have very large files to print, it is advised that it be broken down into smaller files and then sent to the release terminal for printing.
