This section provides help for accessing user data on the OCC computer lab servers from a wireless portable computer. You must have an account for the OCC PC labs. Instructions for obtaining an account can be found at this link showing you how to get an OCC PC Lab Account. And your portable must have access to UC's wireless network. Instructions for obtaining an account can be found at this link with instructions on how to register and set up your portable for wireless network access.

• Open Windows Explorer.

• Click on Tools and select Map Network Drive.

• In the pull down box next to Drive: select an available drive letter of your choice.

• In the text box next to Folder: enter \\riverwind.engineering.uc.edu\students\UserID\my documents where UserID is your OCC PC Lab User name.

• If your User name and password on your portable are different than your OCC PC Lab User name and password then click Connect using a different user name.
In the User name: field enter your OCC PC Lab User name.
In the Password: field enter your OCC PC Lab Password.

• Click Finish and your My Documents folder in the PC Lab should be mapped to the drive letter you selected above.
