Note: Microsoft Office is required
as part of the minimum system. An add-on cost of more than $150 is usually
required to purchase this software license from the hardware vendor. This application is available for around $10
to U.C. students through a contract between State of Ohio Universities and
Microsoft. Students should purchase a
portable computer without Microsoft Office and should obtain the media for latest
version and install the software themselves.
