Centennial Finale WeekendThe Centennial events will close on the weekend of July 13-14 with a National Engineering Alumni Reunion Weekend. July 13: Champagne Reception at CCM The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 13th with a Champagne Reception & CCM Production. (This is an optional event with limited tickets to the production on reserve.) Join Dean Stephen T. Kowel for a champagne toast before settling down for CCM's Hot Summer Nights series production of "Once Upon A Mattress." Those attending the production will automatically be eligible for a drawing of Red's tickets for Saturday afternoon's Cincinnati vs. Cleveland game. Saturday Morning, July 14: Continental Breakfast and Building tours. At 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14th, plan to get re-acquainted with your Alma Mater and old classmates with a complimentary continental breakfast and tours of the Engineering Research Center, Baldwin Hall (hard hat tour provided), and the redesigned UC campus (walking tours only). Breakfast will be served in the Galley (4th floor) of the Engineering Research Center until 10:30 a.m. Tours will be conducted until 12 Noon. In addition to the tours, attendees can enjoy memorabilia from their college days. Yearbooks, class photos, composites and directories will be on display inviting everyone to "take a trip down memory lane." If anyone has memorabilia we can add to the display at the event, please contact the College of Engineering Development office at 556-6271. All items will be returned. On Saturday Evening, July 14: The Centennial Gala The Centennial Gala, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Kingsgate Conference Center. The gala features pre-dinner cocktails and music, followed by a special message from President Joseph Steger and Dean Stephen Kowel, a scrumptious dinner, music and dancing to top off the evening in style.
