H.A.V.O.C.

What is in store for the H.A.V.O.C. team after the launch and recovery of SRV I?

There has been talk of using the remainder of the grant monies to build another payload. This new project would include a more elegant version of the U.C. Attitude Control System, telemetry, and would be created around a 14 inch diameter skin instead of the current 17.25 inch skin. This smaller diameter platform could eliminate much of the outsourcing used to manufacture the structure of SRV I and could lower costs, allowing for more sophisticated electronics.

Also the H.A.V.O.C. team has been looking into creating a formal student organization to run the day to day operations of the rocket project.
