Blood Drive

Hoxworth Blood Center will be taking blood donates in the Great Hall of TUC.  Go to http://bluewhite.sltech.uc.edu/forms/hoxworth/register.html to register.

Engineering Futures – Team Chartering

Learn about the roles of teams in different environments and how to efficiently work on a team

-       Lunch will be provided

-       Open to all UC students

Saturday, Feb. 21st

9:00 – 1:00

Science Fair – Forest Hills School District

Judges will evaluate science projects for grade school and high school students.  Come on out and reminisce about those glory days back in school when growing sugar crystals and grass upside down were the most exciting things in school!!!

E-Week

TBP sponsors the Canned Food Drive and the Coney Eating Contest.  Those of you who missed out last year on all of the events, come out and join the team, and help TBP become Champs for the Third Straight Year!

Volunteers are needed to help judge and run the high school egg drop contest.  More details to come.

Social Night

We will again be partying at Uncle Woody’s.  It is free to all Tau Bates and $5 for all others.  The event starts at 8:00 pm and goes until we are all done!!  It was a blast last quarter!

Food Pantry Shelving Construction

We may be assisting at the St. George Interfaith Food Pantry by building shelves to store the canned goods. 

Every Tuesday

3:20 – 4:30

Freshman Tutoring – Hughes High School

Help tutor 9th graders in math and science every Tuesday.  We meet at 3:20 in front Baldwin Hall.  It counts as off campus community service.

 

 

 

 

 PHYSICS I TUTORING

Tau Beta Pi will significantly involved with tutoring again this quarter.  Many tutors are needed to support this event!  Since 2000, this one credit hour cooperative learning class has been offered to underclassmen engineers and supported by Tau Beta Pi with great success.
