Free Response Questions

1) Describe at least one thing you like about this course or professor

  • Difficult concepts were well explained. The instructor made himself very availabe to discuss the covered material.

  • The material in this course was challenging and fairly recently discovered. Professor Beaucage made sure the course was slow enough so I could appreciate it instead of making sure he covered all the material. A luxury a professor has in a stand alone course like this.

  • The professor is very nice and very kind. He often check if we understand during the lecture.

  • This course provides me a physical insight to interpret the behaviors of polymeric materials. Small angle X-ray scattering is very useful method to characterise polymeric materials

    2) Describe at least one improvement you feel would benefit this course or professor.

  • The course itself is a little hard because it is mainly about physics. It will be better if the teacher can give some more practical examples.

  • We need more examples to inlustrate, such as a couples of SAXS data, and professor explain them in detail

  • shorter quizzes

    3) If your answer to any question between #1 and #17 was `D' or `E', please identify the question number and explain why.
