My professional interests include the following:
Structural Dynamics, Vibration analysis, Modal Analysis,
Testing, 3D Modeling and analysis (Finite Element approach), Engineering
software solution development.
- Industrial Experience:
- Magna Steyr Engineering
: Engineer (Sept 2001- Sept 2002)
- Engine Endurance Tests: FIAT Palio/Siena SI Engines
- Vehicle Homologation Tests: Daimler Chrysler India
(previously Mercedes Benz India Ltd.)
- 3D Modeling and FE analysis: Engine Crank case (internal
project)
- Co-op/Internships:
- DACS Electrosystems Pvt. Ltd.: Power Supply Unit Test
Automation using RS-232 serial communication
- Diamond Medical Devices: Blood Pressure Unit User Interface
- Diamond Agro Products: Milk Fat analyzer control GUI with database
management
- BARC:
Variable Timer Process Controller
- Undergrad Project: 3D Modeling and FE analysis of
stationary platen of an Injection molding machine
- Onward
Technologies: Model and analyze plate using I-DEAS.
Interpret results. Suggest design modifications needed for
operational overloads. Determine safe overload limits.
- Masters Research:
Vehicle road test simulation,
Non Linear
Dynamics Lab,
UC-SDRL
- To match responses measured
on a vehicle chassis in the lab with those measured during actual
road test of the vehicle, using a non-collocated, non linear,
input-output system. The aim is to be able to generate drive
files which can be fed to an MTS-320 Road Simulator, in order to
obtain desired response on test vehicles.
