Ramkrishna Sukumar, Masters Student

Area of research: The bonding of rubber to Brass wires and Aluminum alloys using water based silanes.

Email: sukumar@email.uc.edu

Matthew Stacy, Master Student

Area of Research: Development of "Superprimer", Rubber bonding to metals using Silanes.

Email: staceymb@email.yahoo.com

Corinne Aimard, Visiting scholar

Area of Research: Rubber to metal bonding has a major importance in automotive components at Paulstra, France. The use of silanes should replace the actual process which is costly and enviornmentally unsafe (because of the use of chromate) and provide both adhesion and protection to the corrosion in non-tire applications.
