Help Sessions:
Tutoring sessions 416 ERC 3 to 6 pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Purpose of this Course:
1) Keep in touch with the department during first year.
2) Make sure you have a good sense for what CME is.
3) Make contacts with your faculty advisor.
4) Introduce you to upper classmen/women.
5) Introduce you to faculty in the department.
6) Introduce you to alumni and local industrial contacts in Materials and
Chemical Engineering.
7) Provide you with a fail safe contact for early problem resolution and
encouragement.

April 10 | Nobel Laureate Lecture Nobel laureate Professor Sir Harold Kroto. As some of you may recall, Professor Kroto was awarded the Nobel prize in 1996 (jointly with Professor Robert Curl and late Professor Richard Smalley) for the discovery of bucky-balls. Professor Kroto will be at UC on the 10th and 11th of April Zimmer Auditorium 4:30 (Please get there as early as possible to get a seat at least by 4:00) |
